Tulsa Christmas Parade of Lights

If you aren't aware, Tulsa re-named the 'Christmas Parade of Lights' to 'Holiday Parade of Lights' and Senator Inhofe refused to participate in the parade until they change the name back to 'Christmas Parade of Lights.'

The change of name for the parade of lights and Inhofe's refusal to participate in the parade has seen national news.

I support Inhofe 100% in his decision to not participate in the 'Holiday Parade of Lights!'

At my previous position we weren't allowed to call anything Christmas, we had to refer to it as 'holiday.' That really agitated me! Why are other people celebrating on December 25 if they don't believe in Christ in the first place? The Christmas holiday was not started because of Santa Clause, or because people decided to put up a tree and buy a lot of presents to place under it. It was because of Christ! If you do not believe in Christ and do not celebrate Christmas, fine, but don't try and change Christmas!

I feel like our country is changing into an international gathering place rather than a country that was founded on God and traditional values. I don't understand why people insist on changing what we believe in, what our country is founded on because other people from other countries who have other beliefs move to the United States of America. I understand other people have their own beliefs, but other countries don't change the way they celebrate their holidays in their country because Americans live there, so why do we?
