Wrinkle

The Sunday night game between the Vikings and the Saints gave me a wrinkle.

That was the most stressful football game I have ever watched. Mostly because of my hatred for the New Orleans Saints and the fact that the Vikings played one of their worse games of the year and still almost won. That right there tells me they are a better team, it was just so sad to watch the turnovers lose the game for them.

Lets clarify why I dislike the Saints so much. I like players that let their playing do the talking. Almost everyone on the Saints team is a loudmouth. They like being in the spotlight, like to pound their chest for doing their job, like to get in their opponents face then they make a tackle and like starting fights. A lot of teams have one or two players like this, but almost every player on the Saints team is like this. Makes me sick.

I am going to try and put this as politically correct as I can, Brett Favre has male parts made of steel. He's one of the oldest quarterbacks to play the game, one of the best, and took a lot of hard hits Sunday night. Of the several blows, I specially remember the one to the ribs and the ankle injury. I don't know if you guys were watching the game, but if you did you noticed his facial expressions, the guy was in pain, lots of pain. But did he quit? Nope, now that's an athlete. I thought he was out after the shot to the ribs, but he was back in there a few seconds later. Then there was the ankle injury, he had them re-tape it and went back in.

And I'm pretty sure the NFL isn't naming any powder puff rules after him, for all the many blows he took. Why, because it's football and he knows that!

This Superbowl will be the most humble team in the NFL, the Indianapolis Colts, and the most un-humble team in the NFL, the New Orleans Saints.

Lets go Colts!
