Big eastern redcedar brush piles can burn for days. So they are best to burn when either there is a ton of snow on the ground that isn't going to melt for a few days, or when the humidity is really high in the spring. This must be done because they burn for several days, sometimes a week or so and can throw embers a long way if the wind picks up. So we took advantage of the snow and burned several big piles. This pile has been burned a couple of times and smashed back together with the dozer.
Adam smashing the piles back together that burned up in the middle, but not around the edges.
Me and Dixie warming up in the truck. It was like a blizzard outside!
