This is without fire, notice no grass or forbs in the understory, and all the leaf/pine litter on the forest floor.
This is with prescribed fire, can you tell a difference?? I'm pretty sure this plot has a 3-year burn interval.
This is an annual plot immediately after our burn. Annual meaning it burns every year, notice how it doesn't have as many trees.
