Yesterday was such a long day, and when I say long, I mean loooooong.
Yesterday was the beginning of my last semester as a graduate student. Tear, ya right, I'm so pumped to be finished. With the last semester comes one of the hardest classes, or should I say class that requires a lot of time and dedication. That class is field botany.
Yesterday was our first class and lab. The lab is four hours long, and it went the entire four hours, plus some.
So after getting out of class after six, I was in no mood to cook. We had been seeing all these yummy looking crabfest commercials on TV so we decided to go to Red Lobster. However when we got there, we didn't see any crabfest menus, apparently it ended the day before we got there...
That didn't get me down, I ordered king crab legs anyway. You should have seen me cracking and picking and dipping in that yummy melted butter. I looked like I hadn't eaten in a week. I actually really didn't eat all that much but the scrap plate made me feel like I did. Adam will be eating my leftovers for lunch along with his leftover lobster pasta. Lucky.
