Oreo Bites

Yum Yum Yum

These are aaaaaaaaaaamazing! And one of the easiest sweet treats I have EVER made. I told Adam last night that these are my new "go to" treat when I need to make something to take somewhere.

Here's how you make 'em...

You'll need one package of Oreos. Just the regular ones. Not double stuff, not crazy flavors. Just the regular kind they had when you were a kid.

Remove eight cookies from the package, set aside.

Place the remaining cookies in a food processor and process until it is a crumb consistency.

Pour the Oreo crumbs in a mixing bowl. Throw in one block of room temperature cream cheese. Now it's time to get down and dirty.

Mix the Oreos and cream cheese with your hands until fully incorporated. It should be a thick, sticky consistency.

Roll them in 1" balls and pop them in the freezer for a few minutes.

While the Oreo balls are in the freezer. Melt some almond bark candy in a microwave safe bowl, or in a double boiler on the stove. Just don't over head and burn the chocolate.

I used brown chocolate almond bark, but I think white would look cuter. Once the chocolate is melted, pull the Oreo balls out of the freezer and dip them in the chocolate and place on waxed paper.

After all of them have been coated in chocolate, you can put sprinkles on top or just leave them plain. If you want you can process the eight cookies you set aside and sprinkle the crumbs on the top of the melted chocolate after dipping them. Put them in the refrigerator to set up.

I like to leave mine in the refrigerator, they are yummy cold!

These literally took me 15 minutes to make 35 or so of them.

Enjoy!
