Pie Pops

These are cute, easy little treats to make.

In the cold section of the grocery store by the biscuits in a can, grab a couple of packages of pre-made pie crust.

Then grab your favorite kind of jelly. Mine, strawberry, hands down.

Flour your surface and unroll the pie crust. With a 2 or so inch round cookie cutter, or any kind of small saucer, cut out as many circles as you can.

Beat one egg and add a splash of water. On the very edges of the circle, brush the egg wash, then lay a popscicle stick a little over half way across the circle of crust. Then spoon a little jelly in the middle.

Lay another circle of crust on top, try to press out all the air without squeezing out any jelly. Then seal the edges with your fingers and then take the edge of a fork and make the cute seal ridges around the edges.

Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray. Lay the pops on the cookie sheet and brush the tops with more egg wash. Bake them at 350 for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown.

Let them cool completely before trying to pick them up by the stick!

Enjoy!
