Whew, that was a close one! Too close... But, it was a win!
However, I am pretty proud of our team for coming back, our program is building slowly but surely. In the past when we were down we didn't have much come-back in us. With several stars out from injuries and a horrible first half, I'd say we did alright.
It was a very very very smart move for Gundy to put Weeden, the third string quarter back in for the second half. We weren't going ANYWHERE, or seeming to do much good at all in the first half. "They're onto us! We need to do something else!" I said that last night during the game and for some reason Adam thought it was hilarious. The first half was kind of embarrassing. Weeden completely turned the game around and came out holding nothing back. He gave us some more options besides a strictly running game. We didn't complete one pass in the first half! In my opinion, he proved that he is better than third string. I think the second and third string quarterbacks should be switched! It's nice to know we have a descent sophomore quarterback after Robinson graduates. He stepped up when his team needed him. I think he has a lot of potential.
We're now 9-2 and ranked 12th in the nation and OU is ranked.... wait, they're not ranked!
Now for OU in Norman next weekend. LETS GO COWBOYS!!!!
