Six Days

It had been six days, yes six, since I had been down to visit the garden.

To put it short, it's amazing what six days, sun and rain can do to a garden!

I had a tomato plant that grew at least two feet, a basil plant that is up to my waist (that's big for basil), corn grew a foot, bell pepper plants are full of peppers, the tomatillos are taking over their bed, and the okra.... oh the okra. The okra plants tripled in size!

I came back with a bowl of tomatillos and a gargantuan bell pepper. I could have picked more bell peppers, but I thought I'd leave the guys there until they are monsters!

Tomorrow, my day off, I will be cleaning up the garden making it purty, harvesting potatoes, checking on the onions and shallots, pulling weeds, weed eating, spraying and enjoying it all!
